– the company’s employees. The key question to ask here is:
- What issues are the employees struggling, that hinder their abilities to support the company’s goals and objectives?
This area focuses on internal process improvements. Some areas to consider are:
- Employee time and expense tracking
- Internal procurement / purchase processes
- Self-management of employee benefits.
Internal eBusiness efforts have the lowest level of eBusiness activity,
as they generally are difficult to justify. Companies generally focus technology spending on
improving customer relationships or reducing costs due to external market pressures.
